Peter Hertel & Sebastian Klarhoefer both studied architecture in Berlin and Venice. In 1999, they established Hertel & Klarhoefer design agency in Germany. The duo describes their pieces as being: metropolitan, creative, and direct, as they find inspiration mostly in Berlin. Hertel and Klarhoefer also enjoy traveling to see things that bring out creative ideas – believing that the best ideas come in the most unexpected situations.
